omnia quae cupio iam habeo – (keep reading to find out what this means!)

We had a WONDERFUL TV & Computer free day yesterday. We went for a walk with Deirdre & Bryson, did lots of fun activities (including a family nap), then had a playdate & dinner with Gretchen, Brady, & Cooper. (I did cheat after they went to bed. Hubby was gone, and there was plenty I could have gotten done, but I was lonely. We all know what good friends TV & Computer are.)

Here’s the boys enjoying a snack yesterday afternoon

le Boring

I super procrastispazzed on getting my Merino Kids Baby Sleep Bag review post done, so poor Harrison had a breakfast of

  • Whole milk
  • Gerber Yogurt Melts
  • Cheerios
  • Backyardigans (I seriously love this cartoon. The concept of “kids” (aka, animals) going in their backyard and pretending. So simple, yet unique in today’s cartoon world.)

Last Lazy Day

I have been really enjoying these lazy days at home with the boys. When I first realized we were stuck in the house all weekend due to pink eye I was scared for all 3 of us (the worst part was missing Amy’s BBQ) but it’s been a nice break from reality. We’ve been reading lots of books, watching TV & movies, and just playing together. I’ve let cleaning go by the wayside. The boys interact more and more every day, I just love it.

We started our day with a walk to the gas station for the Sunday paper (actually, 2 papers) Harrison slept in till 9 (I don’t know why he’s been sleeping in, but I LOVE it!) But that meant we didn’t get out the door until 10, which meant the sun was BEASTLY hot already. It’s not a particularly long walk, but the hills are killer so it’s a good little workout. The boys just love being in the stroller.

First Farmer’s Market Trip

10- 7.10 015  Harrison slept in until 9:45 this AM! Actually, that’s just when I woke him up. I heard him awake around 6, he must have been up awhile before falling back asleep.

After he got up I was waiting to hear from someone I bought a booster seat from on Craigslist, so I gave him a quick (and I mean quick) breakfast
