Soup is for Noodles

I had SO much fun at my MNO’s last night- saying goodbye was hard- especially when my friend Sara is PCSing (moving) to Alaska! But that’s the Army life. Pedicures were wonderful, especially followed by a Rum&Diet. Then I met up with another group of girls at my friend Amy’s house- BIG thanks to her for having all us girls over, and having lots of wine and yummy food! I definitely went off of WW last night. (There ya go, Danielle! She wanted me make sure I ‘fessed up!) =) It was worth it, though. Also big thanks to Deirdre for watching my goofy munchkins.

This morning was slow- Harrison was up at 5:30, and of course Ruben woke up. Lovely. Harrison had Applesauce Muffins for breakfast (figured you were remembered what they looked like). I should have drank a cup of coffee, but I was too lazy to even do that. Which meant when I put Harrison and Rue down at 9:30 (yes, 9:30) I fell asleep right along with them. Surprise, surprise. We woke up at 11:45, and I was out the door (to the pool) in record time- 30 min! I fed them both lunch, packed all the crap you need to bring 2 babies to the pool, got dressed, got them dressed and we were off! Here’s HP’s lunchy-

le Boring

I super procrastispazzed on getting my Merino Kids Baby Sleep Bag review post done, so poor Harrison had a breakfast of

  • Whole milk
  • Gerber Yogurt Melts
  • Cheerios
  • Backyardigans (I seriously love this cartoon. The concept of “kids” (aka, animals) going in their backyard and pretending. So simple, yet unique in today’s cartoon world.)

Last Lazy Day

I have been really enjoying these lazy days at home with the boys. When I first realized we were stuck in the house all weekend due to pink eye I was scared for all 3 of us (the worst part was missing Amy’s BBQ) but it’s been a nice break from reality. We’ve been reading lots of books, watching TV & movies, and just playing together. I’ve let cleaning go by the wayside. The boys interact more and more every day, I just love it.

We started our day with a walk to the gas station for the Sunday paper (actually, 2 papers) Harrison slept in till 9 (I don’t know why he’s been sleeping in, but I LOVE it!) But that meant we didn’t get out the door until 10, which meant the sun was BEASTLY hot already. It’s not a particularly long walk, but the hills are killer so it’s a good little workout. The boys just love being in the stroller.

I Am Supermom, Hear Me Roar!

I did it! I managed a Target shopping trip with 2 boys 18 months &  younger and lived to tell about it… =) I decided on Target because I knew they had the double carts. (Sucky thing is that means no fresh produce, but I we can survive for a few more days. Where is SuperTarget when you need it?) Check out my little buddies- I let them look at each other.
